MGB GT Coupe

MGB was launched in 1965 and ran through to 1980 with the Roadster and 2+2 Coupe variants.

This 1979 vehicle has the famous “Rostyle” wheels and the distinctive Rubber Bumpers with the latter being a requirement for the US Market bumper standards.

With just TWO Keepers, the last of which bought the car when it was just a year old and spent the next 45 Years and 6 Days as a cherished member of his family.

Many road trips to France ( even comes with the Lucas Yellow Headlamp Covers ) the vehicle underwent a 4 Year Restoration between 2013 & 2017 to a bare shell & has always been garaged under a car cover to provide what we have today…. Absolutely stunning condition.

The Folding Vinyl “Webasto” roof is in immaculate, fully working condition with no leaks…. Fitted as a Dealer Option within the 1st Year of ownership in 1979 !! Even have the Receipt !!

Original Bill of sale for the 2nd Owner from 01 November 1980 together with the Warranty card together with Full details of the 1990’s Restoration, Folders full of the Part Numbers, Service Invoices and Handwritten memorabilia all included with the sale; adding to this lovely MG’s story.
