We are more than familiar with Defenders here at the Auto Barn and we can say without a doubt this is a top-tier example.

Originally in blue, this Defender underwent a major respray, with the previous owner deciding to change it to a striking, metallic orange colour. Alongside this colour change, the previous owner, of which it has had 5 others since it was first registered, has decided to fit a Masai roof rack, new rear windows, new door hinges, mudguards, a full LED light conversion, new wing mirrors, upgraded LT235/85 R16 Ranger Avon ATT all-terrain tyres, and also fitted new bumpers. 

The inside has also received an extensive overhaul. New carpets, door cards, an upgraded 2-Din stereo, Dynamat sound proofing, and new seat covers are all areas in which the interior has been enhanced. The cabin has also been modified, with a custom dashboard, fascia, and new instruments, while the headlining has been replaced throughout with Alcantara. Due to all these relatively recent improvements, the interior and cabin, all in all, are in very good condition. The Masai roof rack looks almost brand new. However, there is some light wear around the steering wheel, door cards, and inner edges of the door.

Under the bonnet, this Defender 110 TDCi County runs on a 2.4 litre turbocharged Duratorq diesel engine which is smoothly operated with a 6-speed manual gearbox, with both the engine and gearbox functioning very well. The general mechanics of this car are also in fine repair. There are MOT certificates being present from 2010 in its service history, as well as a handful of part invoices, and a service booklet which records stamped services from main dealers during its first 3 years of ownership.

Overall, despite this Defenders slightly outlandish appearance, it is a sophisticated example that drives like a Defender should and is also highly useable, like a Defender should be.
